Making real differences require much reading, observing, asking, experimenting, studying and writing, to adopt theories of mind about intended audiences, and to articulate what we understand and can offer without sounding like an evangelist. Fortunately there are vast amounts of research and writing online. However, simply listening to our desired audience for a while, we can identify with people and begin addressing burning questions and objections. It will at times take quite some courage to stand in that position. It is often difficult to hold the middle ground, esp. in these times. But from true compassion for all of humanity (agape), we realize someone must hold up the center of the bridge, if we are to ever come together. The path to new listeners may start by listening to them yourself.
